Bedwars Multiplayer — Free Browser Game
Bedwars Multiplayer is a free game you can play right in your browser. Up to four players each get their own floating island. Collect resources, buy gear, build bridges, and try to destroy everyone else's bed. No download and no account needed — just click Play.
How to Play
Everyone starts with a bed on their island. If your bed is still standing, you respawn 5 seconds after dying. Once your bed is destroyed, you have one life left — die again and you're out for good. The last player left wins. A round lasts up to 15 minutes.
Resources and the Economy
Iron appears on your island every few seconds. Walk over it to pick it up. Press B to open the shop and spend it on blocks, swords, and other basic gear. Iron alone isn't enough to win — the best weapons and items cost Gold and Emeralds, and those only spawn at shared generators out in the map.
To reach them, you'll need to bridge — build a path of blocks out across the gap. Gold spawns near the middle of the map, and Emeralds spawn further out. Whoever controls those generators gets better gear first. Remember: any bridge you build, an enemy can also use to reach you. Build to attack, but don't forget to defend too.
Your island's generator starts at Level 0. Spend Iron to upgrade it — Level 1 makes Iron spawn faster, Level 2 adds Gold, and Level 3 adds Emeralds too. Upgrading early is usually worth it, since it means less time spent traveling for resources.

Block Placement
Right-click with a block in hand to place it on the surface you're looking at. If there's no surface nearby, it places at your feet instead — this makes bridging easy, since you don't have to look straight down while you build.
Blocks take different amounts of time to break. Glass breaks almost instantly. Wood takes about 3 seconds. Stone takes 6 seconds. Obsidian takes over 12 seconds and can't be destroyed by explosions — it's the best way to protect your bed.
Shop Items
Open the shop with B at any time during a round. Items cost Iron, Gold, or Emeralds.
- Glass (5 Iron, ×16) — cheap transparent bridging block, breaks quickly
- Wood (5 Gold, ×32) — solid and plentiful, the standard bridging block
- Stone (5 Gold, ×8) — much harder to break, good for fortifying your bed
- Obsidian (1 Emerald, ×1) — near-indestructible; explosion-resistant bed armour
- Wooden Sword (5 Iron) — 2 damage; basic melee weapon
- Iron Sword (5 Gold) — 3 damage; reliable mid-game weapon
- Emerald Sword (5 Emeralds) — 4 damage; highest melee DPS
- Bow (10 Gold) — ranged; hold right-click up to 2 seconds. 1–4 damage. Requires Arrows.
- Arrow (5 Iron, ×6) — ammunition for the Bow
- Emerald Arrow (3 Emeralds, ×6) — 2× damage per shot
- Axe (5 Gold) — breaks blocks 3× faster than bare hands
- Pickaxe (5 Gold) — breaks stone and obsidian 3× faster
- Emerald Axe (5 Emeralds) — breaks beds and wood 5× faster; instakills glass
- Emerald Pickaxe (5 Emeralds) — breaks stone and obsidian 5× faster
- Iron Carrot (10 Iron) — consumable that restores 2 HP and triggers regen
- Fireball (48 Iron) — explosive projectile; 6 damage and heavy knockback
- Wind Charge (10 Gold) — no damage but launches players backward with force
- Enderpearl (2 Emeralds) — throw to teleport on impact; great for crossing gaps
- Jetpack (5 Emeralds) — aerial mobility; overheats if used continuously
- Decoy (2 Emeralds) — places a clone to confuse enemies
- Smoke Bomb (1 Emerald) — right-click to throw; lands and detonates after a short fuse animation, releasing a smoke cloud that blinds enemies within 5 blocks for 3 seconds
- Weight (10 Emeralds) — damage scales with fall distance; devastating from height
Eye Classes
Pick an Eye Class from the landing screen before entering a round. Each class gives a different passive or active ability. Blue, Brown, and Green are free for all players including guests. Higher-tier classes are unlocked by opening Cases with Points earned during play — kills, bed breaks, eliminations, and wins all award Points.
- Blue Eyes (free) — start each round with a free Wind Charge; Wind Charges cost 5 Gold instead of 10
- Brown Eyes (free) — your bed takes 6 seconds to break instead of 2, making bed-rushing significantly harder
- Green Eyes (free) — Enderpearls travel 2× faster; your first Enderpearl each round costs 1 Emerald instead of 2
- Ghost Eyes (unlockable) — become nearly invisible while crouching; excellent for flanking and sneaking past defenders
- Purple Eyes (unlockable) — 1.5× knockback with the bow and empty-handed punches; ideal for void-kills on bridges
- Amber Eyes (unlockable) — Fireballs are 1.5× larger with a wider blast radius and cost only 40 Iron instead of 48
- Black Eyes (unlockable) — hold right-click with an empty hand to charge a self-destruct explosion that destroys nearby blocks, damages enemies, and can shatter unprotected beds; you die in the explosion too
- Crimson Eyes (unlockable) — enter the Crimson Realm: become invisible to all other players and move at 2× speed, but other players also become invisible to you and you take continuous health damage the entire time you remain inside
- Red Eyes (unlockable) — Decoys explode violently when an enemy approaches or interacts with them; chain explosions across multiple decoys are possible
- Xanadu Eyes (unlockable) — hold right-click with an empty hand to charge, then release to teleport back to your exact position 5 seconds ago; powerful escape from ambushes, falls, and impossible situations
Proximity Voice Chat
Voice chat is built right in — no extra app needed. Click Play and allow microphone access when your browser asks. You'll hear other players near you, and the sound gets quieter the further away they are. Anyone can hear anyone nearby, even enemies — so watch what you say if someone might be close.
Press V to mute yourself at any time. You can also mute specific players from the Settings menu. Spectators can't talk.
Strategy Tips
- Upgrade your generator early. Level 1 speeds up Iron, and Level 2 unlocks Gold — buy upgrades before your first bridge run.
- Protect your bed immediately. A naked bed breaks in 2 seconds. Even one layer of Stone forces enemies to slow down.
- Bridge low. Building below the island edge keeps you hidden from players sniping from above.
- Wind Charge into the void. Hitting a player who's bridging over a long gap is often an instant kill. Blue Eyes makes this even cheaper.
- Save Enderpearls for emergencies. Keep one in reserve to escape when your bed is rushed instead of using them all aggressively.
- Black Eyes: target beds first. The self-destruct destroys an unprotected bed outright. Use it as a bed bomb, not just a fight-ender.
- Crimson Realm: stay brief. The health drain is constant — activate close to your target, strike, and exit. Prolonged use is self-defeating.
- Throw Smoke Bombs at choke points. The cloud activates at the landing position — throw it at a bridge entrance, a bed doorway, or mid-map before charging in.
- Use voice chat offensively. Proximity voice is not team-filtered. A scout crouching near the enemy base can overhear their plans.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the game free?
Yes, completely free. No paid game modes and nothing pay-to-win. You earn eye classes just by playing. Ads help cover server costs.
Do I need an account?
No, you can play as a guest. Making a free account just saves your stats and lets you earn Points to unlock more eye classes.
How many players per match?
Up to four players, each with their own island. Rooms fill up automatically, and a new one is created once one is full.
Does it work on mobile or Chromebook?
Yes. It runs in any modern browser, including Chrome on Chromebooks — no extension needed. On mobile, touch controls show up automatically. Mouse and keyboard still work best.
Does this game have voice chat?
Yes, and it's free — just grant microphone access when asked. Press V to mute yourself, or mute other players from Settings.
What is the Crimson Realm?
It's a special power for Crimson Eyes. While it's active, you're invisible and move twice as fast — but you can't see other players either, and you slowly lose health the whole time. Best used for quick surprise attacks, not long fights.
What are Cases and how do I earn Points?
You earn Points automatically as you play: 10 for a kill, 25 for breaking a bed, 50 for an elimination, and 100 for winning a round. Spend Points on Cases to unlock new eye classes.
How do I unlock Eye Classes?
Earn Points by playing, then open Cases from the main screen. There are three tiers — C, B, and A. Higher tiers cost more but give you a better chance at rare classes.
How do I upgrade my generator?
Walk up to your island's generator — a menu will pop up automatically. Spend Iron, Gold, or Emeralds to upgrade it. Each level makes Iron spawn faster, Level 2 adds Gold, and Level 3 adds Emeralds too. Upgrading early is one of the best things you can do at the start of a round.
What happens if I go AFK?
If you don't do anything for 3 minutes, you'll be removed from the match automatically. This frees up your spot for other players. It applies both during a round and while waiting in the lobby.
