Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
Bedwars Multiplayer is a free browser-based game operated by Sevastipol. If you have questions about this policy, you can reach us via our Discord community.
2. Information We Collect
Account information (optional) — If you create a free account you provide a username and password. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes and are never readable by us. Your username and statistics (kills, deaths, wins, beds broken) are stored server-side.
Gameplay data — When you connect, our server logs your IP address and basic session data (socket ID, selected character class, in-game actions) in order to run the multiplayer game. This data is not sold or shared with third parties.
Locally stored data — If you choose to stay logged in, your username and password hash are stored in your browser's localStorage so you are not asked to log in on each visit. You can clear this at any time by signing out or clearing your browser storage.
Automatically collected data — Like most websites, our server receives standard request information including IP address, browser type, and referring URL. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.
3. Cookies and Advertising
We display advertisements on the landing page (not during gameplay) through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to:
- Serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
- Measure ad performance and prevent fraudulent activity.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit here and prior visits to other sites. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting google.com/settings/ads or www.aboutads.info/choices.
For more information on how Google uses data when you use our site, see How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.
4. Third-Party Services
Bedwars Multiplayer uses the following third-party services whose own privacy policies apply:
- Google AdSense — display advertising (Google Privacy Policy)
- Socket.io / Node.js — real-time multiplayer infrastructure (self-hosted, no third-party data sharing)
- Upstash Redis — cloud storage for account data (Upstash Privacy Policy)
- Discord — community platform linked from this site (Discord Privacy Policy)
5. Children's Privacy
This site is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us via Discord and we will delete it promptly.
6. Data Retention
Account data is retained for as long as the account exists. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us on Discord. Server logs are purged on a rolling basis.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us via Discord.
